Neapolitan tailor, pioneer of Neapolitan jacket design,
opens its doors on Madison Avenue
In 1930, as the highly acclaimed Neapolitan tailoring school was born, Vincenzo Attolini created the first “mapped” deconstructed jacket. In 2012, Massimiliano and Giuseppe Attolini, the family’s third generation, bring the Cesare Attolini style to New York by opening the brand’s highly anticipated first U.S. flagship boutique at 798 Madison Avenue.
Between these two pivotal events lie eighty-two years of dedication and passion for design, both cast in the limelight of grandfather, Vincenzo, and father, Cesare’s master tailoring. Over the years, the family came to define Neapolitan tailoring, leading it to be considered – alongside the British school – as the most prestigious school worldwide and thus forged a new idea of contemporary men’s elegance.
Thanks to the immense support of many of the most prestigious department and specialty stores in the country, Cesare Attolini has been a presence in the United States for many years. In such years, the Neapolitan house has been able to cultivate the culture and the practical knowledge of design that underlies each piece, making it the reference point for the most elegant men in the country, be they famous or not.

The 2500 square-feet boutique is dedicated to Neapolitan lifestyle, signature Cesare Attolini craftsmanship and the unique commitment to quality. The boutique offerings will include: tailor made ready to wear collection, suit jackets, suits, coats, shirts, ties, sweaters, jackets, trousers, accessories and of course the brands bespoke signature “tailoring.”
